YOUR THERAPY SESSIONS

If you do not wish to read the following text, do not worry, it's only an introduction to give you an idea of what to expect.  Simply scroll down the page to the 'WHAT TO DO NOW' section, click the button and key in the code we emailed to you.

The primary goal of any person employed in the health sector is to 'heal, not hurt'.  However, there are so many different types of approaches people use to ease their problems that it gets all too confusing, so anyone contemplating therapy gets a little cautious.

Confusion is a good sign

It's good to have a little confusion.  It's good, because it means you are still searching.  You haven't given up hope.  You know there is an answer for what you are feeling inside - and out.

In your confusion is the crux of all this searching.  You are actively searching for an easement of the pain you experience.  You know there's something not quite right, and you want to work on it.

First of all, it's ok to be sceptical.  You should be given all the options available to choose from.  And, while many of them you have to pay for, there are a couple of things in the universe you can get for nothing...

  • Your freedom of choice.

  • Your willingness to learn and open your mind

Therefore, it's good to be sceptical rather than enthusiastic.  Quiet observation and analysis is what we at BewleyTherapy urge you to take.

Our approach

That said, this isn't just another therapy session where the therapist sits and listens to you talk yourself into deeper and deeper worries that swirl you down into the toilet.  We're not going to give you a load of 'how to' instructions or tell you to try this and try that.

BewleyTherapy is about teaching you a real way to changing your life from the one you don't want, to the one you do, by using proven clinical approaches.

This Is A Very Useful System

Kaye Bewley is trained in the Human Givens psychotherapy (to Masters Level), as well as having a Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and a Certificate in Emotional Freedom Techniques.  Kaye keeps up-to-date with her therapy knowledge by continually updating her Continuing Professional Development certificates.  She uses approaches that get to the core of the issues you want to focus on, quickly.  With these approaches, you can begin to:

  • see another way of thinking about the lifestyle you want to move away from, to the one that you want.

  • learn how to deal with the challenges you face and the obstacles you want to get over.

  • pick yourself up from where you think you are, to where you want to go.

These therapy sessions are about you finding out how you can get the life that you want.

That said, even if you like what you hear and read, you'll need to work through some short forms before and after you attend - to get the best out of each session.

Your commitment

The most successful achievers know there needs to be a commitment up front to make it work. We both know that if you are unwilling to take a few minutes to complete a short form, chances are you won't commit to achieving what you really want.

Our commitment to you is to be transparent.

Due to the stigma's attached to some types of counselling, from time to time there are people who assume we're just like all the others. That's why we go through a quick process where both you and we agree that it makes sense before we move forward. We let our reputation and your due diligence make the call once you begin your sessions and have the chance to see what our service can offer you.

So here's the deal... You're getting a complete, session-by-session set of tools that can be applied to your lifestyle.  This simple but effective approach is not only time-tested it's also clinically proven to work and is backed by official government NICE guidelines.

After each session, you may find two things happen...

1.  You'll find that life can change very subtly

2.  You'll come away from your first experience feeling different  - in a good way

In fact, from our experience, many of our clients have said they believe themselves to be capable of something better than what they had before therapy with us began.

This is really important.  Why?  Because you want to be able to rely on an approach that's not going to change your personality, or have you doing things you really don't feel comfortable doing or saying.

EASE THE DISCOMFORT

During your session, you'll:

  • be guided through without any pressure

  • won't have to convince anyone of anything

  • won't have to reveal what issues you are dealing with... unless you want to

That's because of the way the BewleyTherapy approach works in subtle ways.  It's all designed around helping you make informed choices; helping your mind understand what you need when you need it.

WHAT TO DO NOW

You've made the first step, and while that's always the hardest one, there are a couple more steps you'll need to take before your therapy begins.

Go to the link below and key in the code we sent in your email.  Download the forms, print them off and fill them in.

Before and after each session, you'll be sent a 'tick box' form which will only take a couple of minutes to complete. This is really more of an introduction to who you are and what you're looking for.  Complete as much as you feel comfortable with - we urge you to go with your gut.

As well as keeping everything above board and professional, your forms help guide us.

We'll arrange a mutually convenient date to meet either in person or, we'll send you a link inviting you to join us via Zoom or Skype, whichever you prefer.  You can click on the Zoom and Skype links at the foot of this page to sign-up so you are prepared.

THERE'S NO CATCH!

There really is no catch other than we aim to win your trust.

As mentioned above, we don't want you to judge us on anything other than your own experience and results. This is our way of helping you to make an informed decision to whether we may or may not be a good fit for you and your own personal goals.

If you appreciate our service and you feel we've enabled you to change your life in a good way, all we ask is that you either spend a little time to give us a testimonial to put on our board or, if you prefer, tell others about our service so that we can begin to help them get the life the want, need or desire.
